AWS Consultant, AWS workspace, AWS code, Design and Deploy, Outside IR35, 3 months+, Remote, £500PD

We are seeking a hands on experienced AWS Consultant to join our internal Cloud Consultancy team to help support our customers with current and future AWS Project engagements. This would be full time for 3 months, with further opportunity to extend thereafter.

The Role:

You will collaborate with our clients to develop and execute innovative solutions. This involves conducting initial assessment and envision workshops during the pre-sales phase to understand their needs, followed by creating statement of work documentation as the final deliverable. After obtaining the necessary approval, you will subsequently need to assist in executing and delivering the project within the agreed-upon time-frames.

The Person:

Essential:

• Strong hands in experience in implementation of AWS services like Glue, Crawler, Glue job, Athena, Quick sight, Lambda, Redshift database, AWS code commit, AWS code build, AWS code deploy, EC2, S3, RDS, ALB, SQS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, AWS workspace, ECS, Fargate, EKS.
• Experience in AWS Active Directory, AWS workspace.
• Previous experience in designing & deployment of AWS landing zone architecture using control tower and Terraform.
• Extensive experience in handing MAP engagements which including documentation and technical delivery

Desirable:

• Experience in leading workshops with client for cloud strategy engagement, cloud technology and create awareness for cloud assessment &readiness, migrations, optimisation, and modernisation journey, creating overall migration strategy.
• Strong hands on experience in AWS security services like Guarduty, CloudTrail, KMS, WAF and DDOS
• Previously deployed and managed containerised applications on AWS ECS or EKS leveraging Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in working on initiatives in a dynamic environment that involves networking, security, configuration, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring building infrastructure as code using services like Terraform, AWS code commit, AWS code build and AWS code deploy
• Hands on experience on AWS Cloud Connect would also be advantageous.
• AWS Certifications are also advantageous.
